About Barbara Ann Scott Ice Rink/College Park
Named after Barbara Ann Scott who in 1948 was the first Canadian to win an Olympic Gold Medal and the World Figure Skating title, this ice rink is located at College Park that is approximately 0.75 hectares in size. The park was originally constructed on top of a parking garage in the mid-1980s. The space features this artificial ice rink, washroom building and green landscaped areas. Surrounding the park are office towers, retail stores and residential condominiums, including townhouses that front directly onto the park. Since this ice rink is an artificial rink, availability and accessibility is dependent on the City of Toronto operating schedule, weather and closure dates. For more information, please visit the City of Toronto website of this space.
